For Boysen Color Trend 2020, the team was tasked to transform original artworks from Boysen artists into videos. Each video was based on a specific color palette and the concept behind each artwork.
For Origins, we focused on the different flora and fauna that you normally see in a jungle. As the video zooms out, the viewer will realize that they are all in the same jungle.
In Kinship, the purpose was showcase how everything is woven together by tradition and culture. We translated the artwork into a tapestry and animated the image panels.
In Nostalgia, since the setting of the artwork is an arcade, the video paid homage to 80s pop culture, with elements like pinball, Pacman, roller blades, etc.
For Meta, the theme was fluidity. We highlighted the flowing motions of the artwork using ink patterns.
