RAFI 2020 Annual Report

The Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI) is a non-government, non-profit organization, since 1966, whose mission is to elevate lives by championing best practices in community development in the Philippines. Their philosophy, "Touching people, Shaping the future", is fulfilled by enabling resilient, prosperous, and vibrant communities through economic and social growth.
For RAFI's 2020 Annual Report, the client wanted a nautical bangka/bugsay theme inspired by Roberto E. Aboitiz's Bugsay Principle for navigating through the rise and fall of turbulent waves. The team designed the layout and executed the data visualization through infograpahics. We created an original pastel illustration of two people paddling through rising waves representing the challenges of the times. RAFI Micro-Finance (MFI)'s 2020 Annual Report the client wanted to feature the resilience and inspiring success stories of their local entrepreneur partners unsung hereoes of the RAFI-MFI team. For the cover we created a digital collage that shows the many parts that make the whole, how despite having stories, people can look beyond the individual and move together as one.
