Sushi Station
Branding and Visual Identity
Sushi Station is an innovative dining concept by Nonki, one of Cebu’s most trusted names in authentic Japanese cuisine. Launched at the newly opened SM City JMall, Sushi Station introduces the kaiten sushi or conveyor belt sushi experience to a broader audience in the region — bringing a modern, fast-paced, and interactive approach to Japanese dining.
The restaurant combines convenience with quality, inviting diners to pick freshly prepared sushi as it rotates on a sushi train — an experience that’s both efficient and visually engaging.
Sushi Station is a new dining concept by Nonki located at the new SM City JMall that uses sushi trains as a main way of serving customers. The company wanted to bring a new experience of Japanese dining to Cebu with this conveyor belt sushi restaurant, which is also known as rotation sushi, sushi train, kaiten sushi in Japanese.
This logo incorporates a mascot to give the brand a fun and unique character. The mascot is a sushi running, reminiscent of how the food is served on the conveyor belt. To give the logo a modern look, we incorporated a geometric sans serif font and a limited color palette.
